Who are we?
We are the UMCP Associate chapter of alpha Kappa Delta Phi International Sorority, Inc! Also known as αΚΔΦ or aKDPhi.
aKDPhi is the largest and only international Asian-interest sorority in the world. We are made of thousands of undergraduate and alumnae sisters, and are a rapidly growing network of successful female leaders.
Love and friendship, always.
Driving change with fearless ideas.
Translating visions into reality.
Enriching appreciation through culture.
Working for a brighter community.
Why join a sorority? Why choose aKDPhi?
Read what our sisters have to say!
Joining aKDPhi has made me jump out of my comfort zone. It has given me lifelong friendships, strong networking connections, and countless memories I will always remember. In a little over a year, I have challenged myself to hold leadership positions I never thought I would ever have. aKDPhi has truly become my home away from home and I cannot wait to make memories will all my sxsters that I will truly cherish forever! I am excited to guide my chapter this year and see all that we accomplish!

"At UMCP aKDPhi...
... we don't look for a certain "type" of girl.
Every identity, every background, and every story has a place in our chapter.
Our achievements have been a culmination of every single sister who’s crossed into our chapter. We’re doing it for our alumnae, we’re doing it for ourselves, and we’re doing it for the future generation of sisters. And, at the end of the day, we don't try to be anything that we’re not. We’re simply UMCP aKDPhi, and—
We are a group of women to be remembered."
- Sisters of UMCP aKDPhi's speech at the 2019 aKDPhi National Convention
