On April 2020, our sisters teamed up with amazing speakers and organizations to release our educational and eye-opening "Week of Womxn" podcast!
Last year, UMCP aKDPhi held Week of Womxn to examine the hidden rules that womxn are bound by in our communities and the importance of changing the status quo. However, there is still so much to be discussed.
This year, our theme is “Out of the Box". Although there have been many movements for gender equality, womxn are still confined in this so-called "box". Inside this box, we are not allowed to talk about our bodies, express anger, stand up for ourselves, or be too powerful. This year's Week of Womxn intends to break down these walls a little further until finally, we can step out of the box.
